These days it is extremely cheap to host a website. There are cheap solutions out there but I would not recommend using a free hosting company. Domain names have also become cheaper. .coms are available for less than $10, you could even get a .info domain for less than $2.

Email list

Building an email list is a cheap and effective way to market your products and services. There are many free services which allow you to set up an email system. This will allow you to let people sign up a list where you can regularly send out an email newsletter.
Each newsletter can contain news about you and your business, special offers, new products, testimonials from satisfied customers. In each email newsletter you would include a link to your website, so if anyone forgets your website url they can easily click through to your site.

Writing articles

Writing articles about the sector your business operates can be extremely profitable. By demonstrating your knowledge of the sector people will see you as a trusted expert, enabling customers to make more informed decisions regarding your products and services. Articles can also be deposited in article banks where other people use them on their websites as useful content.

By embedding links back to your own website you ensure free marketing. The more links that point to your website the more chance you have or ranking in Google for your keywords.


Link Trading

It may seem that exchanging links with your competitors may harm your business. On the contrary it helps it. Both businesses do not probably provide exactly the same products and service in the same geographical area. By link trading with websites that are in the same sector as you means you share the customers around

Blogging

A blog is basically an online diary, deriving from the joining of web and log. You can set up a blog for no cost on your website, although you may need technical help to do this. Writing in your blog regularly about your business will allow your customers to read about new offers, make comments on posts enabling feedback, sign up to an email newsletter.

The structure of a blog and the way it handles its linking structure is extremely effective for getting into search engines.
